Anyone can lose their mobile device at any time. This may be because you've been forgotten anywhere, you may have dropped it in a place you were walking around, or it may even have been stolen. However, you can prepare your mobile for either case with some security apps (some free, some paid, and some with both). If you want to protect your phone and make sure you have a chance in case you lose it, I present you 4 apps to find your lost phone:
Prey is, for me, the best app to find your lost mobile. It is an anti-theft application consisting of a free plan and 3 plans paid monthly. If you're not willing to pay to have your device prepared for loss or theft, the free plan brings you, among other things, a history of locations for track your cell, lock the screen, report evidence every 10 to 20 minutes or use an Anti-Mute Alarm, which causes your handset to emit a loud sound with which you can find it. If you can afford to spend a little to give your mobile more security, with payment plans you can get advantages such as having a more frequent evidence report (every 2, 5, 10 or 20 minutes), recovering files or formatting it.

Cerberusapp is another of the apps to find cell phone more complete. The main functions are locate your phone, initiate alarms, take a picture of the thief or lock and erase the lost hot spring data. In addition, it has a "Kids version" to control your children at all times which allows you to know where they are or what apps they use. You can also establish areas that if minors enter or leave them will be notified. The only drawback of this app is that it is paid, but you will have a week to try it.
Find Google device
This app to look for a lost cell phone was launched by Google and all you have to do to use it is to have your mobile associated with a Google account. Who doesn't have a Gmail account today? Once done, you can track Android or IOS cell phone from the app, which you'll need to download from the Play Store or Apple Store on another device. You can also locate your phone, in Google on its website. Once inside its help system, it will offer you the possibility to vibrate or locate your device. If you can't get to find it, it also offers security options like blocking or formatting it.
Where’s My Droid
The last app to find my cell phone is Where’s My Droid. This program is widely used only available on Android and consists of more than 10 million downloads on the Play Store. As for its functions is a mixture between Prey and Cerberusapp. You can search for your phone by GPS or make it sound, among other things.
