En este articulo te quiero enseñar the most amazing types of carnivorous plants, but first I'll show you the carnivorous plant definition:

¿Qué es una planta carnívora?

A carnivorous plant is one that feeds on insects attracting them towards it, then chewing and ingesting them.

Now that you've all been more clear about the definition of a carnivorous plant, I'll show you 5 classes of carnivorous plants.

1. Venus flytrap

The Venus flytrap (from the USA) is a perennial leaf carnivorous plant and one of the most efficient when it comes to hunting. It is formed by leaves joined as a hinge that on whose edges there are spikes, which make teeth. When a prey rests between the leaves and touches one of the trichomes, the leaves close and prevent the insect from escaping. If the prey is small enough to escape, the trap remains closed for about half a day, if it is large enough it will remain closed for about 7 days, in which it will be digested. Among the some types of carnivorous plants you can find it, this is spectacular.

2. Attenborough's pitcher plant

* English sundew, and Cape sundew, Australian Rainbow Plant have the same procedure, but with small variables. The way they act that they have these carnivorous plants so exotic deserve without a doubt a post on the types of carnivorous plants more mind-blowing, since its capacity of intelligence that gets to be amazing.

3. English sundew

" English sundew, also known as "long leaf sundew" " great dew of the sun.

4. Cape sundew

Like the Anglica drosera, the Cape sundew is also composed of tentacles with mucilage, which the plant can move. When prey see the flashing lights formed by mucilage after giving it sunlight, they approach and become trapped in the tentacles. Once trapped, the leaf folds over the prey. Finally, the plant begins to slowly digest its prey through the tentacles.

5. Australian Rainbow Plant

This plant originated in Australia, in temperatures around 25 degrees. It also has mucilage in its tentacles (but its tentacles do not move), which with light forms very attractive colors for its prey. When insects approach them, they stay stuck until they die from asphyxia or other circumstances. Later, it is decomposed by the enzymes of the plant.
